Tonight is a bit of a toss together meal. Baking off some Brussels sprouts that I gave some olive oil, salt and pepper to. Caramelizing some shallots and will toss in a few pieces of pork belly confit (very small pieces). A few nibbles of cheese, bottle of 2007 Coelho Winery Pinot Noir Reserve Paciência and we're done.

Sounds good. I have to make some Mexi style chorizo and freeze it in 1# chubbs.

Haven't been in a long time but thought it was very good when it opened. How did you like the food there?

^I thought it was delicious, but I was fighting the last vestiges of a stomach bug so it wasn't the ideal time to go. The dessert was actually awful, but everything else was outstanding. Place was door to door beautiful women too.

Went to BreadBar last night for the special ramen menu they were featuring this month. I had pork feet gyoza and ox tail ramen with truffle oil and marinated poached egg. It was out of this world!

I've seen poached eggs "marinated" in red wine before. I never got that. Why not just poach in red wine?
