I'm not sure if the last is going to work out for me, so sadly, they may be for sale soon.

And that is my grail shoe.

I bought my first Zegna dress shoes on Saturday. Retail price was around 700 USD, at at 50% off I'm not sure I made a good deal. They are not Couture / good year welted, but I like the sleek last and the styling. Who makes the Zegna mainline shoes now, Ferragamo, Campanile?

Love those. I have a pair of Vass very similar but mine are almost too sleek even on the Peter last - I like that round shape for this style very much.

A rather extreme last for my tastes but I have to admire the craftsmanship. Excellent shoes.

unfortunately ed didn'r answer my question, if they are NOS.

imho; current dinks suck. vass or ludwig reiter is the way to go for a proper "Norweger".

probably wiedeking closed the money train for dinks.

Not sure if this belongs here or in the small questions thread, but I hope you shoe-aholics can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a burgundy cap toe oxford with a long toe box similar to the C&J Hallam. Please be gentle and keep it in the same price range ish. Thanks!
