Even discounting the clothing details, that's an awesome pic. With the haircut, the pose, and the stark background, it looks like an album cover. (You know, back when there were albums.)

- we are all here to learn & get inspired from what ever surrounds us, I know I have personally take on various style cues & also listen when I am given advice solicited or unsolicited. But what one should then do is take that information & see if it works for them & then own it
- it's quite funny that the group of SFers that I have met IRL in HKG, USA, SIN & SYD all have similar style cues. **** there are days during the week when out of a core 3 that catch up over coffee or a drink we laugh as there may be a repeat in shoes, cloth or look - but we own it & never once do we feel awkward
- do what ever you like as history repeats, but you do remind me of the guy that tries to impress his friends or family with be it a joke, anecdote or one-liner with a girl/boy & then gets a silent reaction.. All to do with delivery, retort & gravitas
- we have never met IRL but from all accounts I have been given, you are a nice young man but do not take advice from the specialists in the field. In the end they are in the business to make money so it really matters nothing to them - just a thought

FWIW to bring this around, from what we can see of your FIT:
- looks solid overall, standard SF take
- your shirt collar, neck size too small & collar pattern looks to BIG
- I know that all your jackets are always too small, but that is your thing. Been there done that, & now prefer comfort. E.g. when I first started with PL all my shoulders were too small for various reasons. But after posting & listening I have changed to what I feel is a shoulder that suits me.
- never can really tell how the over all balance of your fit(s) as you have never managed to take a full profile pic from a true angle. I think the closest we go was a d/ward pic of you in a grey SC + whet pants?
- I know others here that wear a lapel decoration & I like it as a "Point of Difference". I am not the first to use a flower pin from Strassburgo (the SFer that did was kind enough to purchase some for me - now HERE is the key difference, he knew that I was not going to hi-jack him), but have managed to incorporate it even in a professional setting

Finally
- if you are serious about Rubinacci & L&L, good for you as I could never justify the $$$ as I know that I am still honing my style & do not want to be locked into anything yet. But as a young man still in college, shouldn't you be out chasing skirt or pants?
- f you do go, please listen to them & give them the respect they deserve.

Good response from PG.

I can get you one of these, Andrew. Higly exclusive; completely handmade from first quality cardboard.
