The US seems a lot more athletic and fit than a lot of other teams. Actually, playing soccer throughout my youth in the US at various levels, it seems to me that the focus was always on fitness. He's good and surely one of the best US soccer players of all time. I wouldn't label him as "world-class", though, as he never made in Europe. He hardly played in Leverkusen, he didn't made it into Bayern Munich's first team ( he mostly played in their amateurs team ) and also didn't make the breakthrough in Everton...Originally Posted by *Tee*
