That is simply untrue; being more massive is a visual cue we associate with age and built people just loose that teenage air that we conflate with slenderness.

It was my understanding that a lot of people tend to naturally max out on their muscle mass in their mid to late 20's. Thus someone turning 30 would be near their peak. But this is largely irrelevant to my main point that a more massive look (fat or muscle) is generally associated with being older.

A perfect example of this is Eason. While he looks good today, he looked like a high school kid only a couple years ago. There can be no doubt his increased muscle mass has given him a more mature look.

+1. As usual you've made the point far more concisely then I seem to be able to.

Agreed somewhat but I also think that a noticeable amount of muscle mass actually causes one to appear younger after a certain age (35-40?). As most men, especially Americans, approaching middle age tend to round out considerably if they don't follow some sort of effective fitness regimen.

Perhaps this is why Asiatics often appear quite young for their age.

I want to trade all my stuff in for a shitload of band ts, some Thin Finns, and an unreasonably expensive leather. Then I guess throw it all away when I turn 30, but I have over a decade until that happens.

I suspect they're wearing Dior Homme since Justice was one of those bands that Hedi Slimane patronized.

Am I the only one whom cannot see the video? I just tried viewing it again and see: "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation." I know youtube will selectively block certain copyrighted videos depending on which country it thinks you live in. I wonder if that's what's going on.

but certainly slimness signifies that "teenage air" less and less as the other indicators come to increasingly point to age. a slender 22 year-old might appear younger than a muscular 22 year-old, but a slender 30 year-old very rarely retains any kind of "teenage air." i mean it's difficult to discuss in generalities, but I don't think I'd be any more inclined to assign age to a muscular guy than a slim guy, post age 25 or so.

men put on muscle from 25-30 because they;
1. Have plenty of money and can afford to eat well
2. Have a more organised lifestyle where they're not drinking every 2nd night.

Cool thanks, I'll just have to try my luck. Hopin for a sweatshirt or pants or something.
