Does anyone have an online suggestion of where to buy horn buttons for a sport coat? There are a fair amount of places online, but I haven't seen anything too exciting and I'd would prefer to order from a website/store that comes recommended.

The other option is to got thrifting and buy some coat that doesn't fit me and salvage the buttons, but I'd rather be able to choose exactly what I want.

Thank you!

If you're located in the bay area, San Francisco's Britex Fabrics has HUNDREDS of horn button options. I have not seen an online resource that has as many options as Britex.

Bump . . . I am in the same predicament, but am in New York. Any place where I can see a few options in person? I am looking for some brown horn buttons to go with a navy blazer.

Thanks

You won't be able to see these in person but these are a great deal and beautiful IRL.

Tender Buttons is as good as it gets, you won't find better anywhere else.

Went to Tender Buttons in New York yesterday and so figured it would be worth updating the thread.

They have more horn and MOP buttons than one knows what to do with. I had it narrowed down to five different horn buttons and realized that, frankly, they were so similar it didn't make a big difference. Great selection, though indifferent service.

Well, they're just selling you 10-11 buttons, so it's not like a huge commission rests on the sale. No excuse for bad service, but I wouldn't expect the Pretty Woman treatment.

Here is an Ebay store I've bought buttons from. Very good about exchanges if the buttons aren't exactly what you thought via the pic.

I've also bought horn buttons off that same eBayer - great service and quickly replaced several cracked buttons with no questions.
