Bandit by Robert Piguet
Kolnisch Juchten by Regence Paris
Yatagan by Caron
Knize Ten by Knize

All of these are heavy abrasive scents. Bandit is a leather chypre and Kolnisch Juchten is a musky Russian Leather with hints of meat.

The only light scent I have is Vert Regence which is a scent that is nauseatingly heavy with Vetiver.

Gendarme mostly - it's all natural and hypoallergenic. Smells great but you have spray on a lot. You almost can't apply too much.

Le Labo Rose 31 - Gotten a lot of compliments on this one. Sexy stuff. Kind of expensive, though.

^ Right on! I know some can't stand it, but I love everything about it. Rose 31 I'm pretty fond of, as well.

i need a good aqua-y / summer cologne. any recommendations?

Versace Pour Homme is a really good aquatic. While these other two recommendations aren't aquatics, they're good summer scents IMO: Clinque Happy and Kenzo L'Eau Par Kenzo. Both of those scents are very light cologne like scents. Really good light summer fragrances.

dolce&gabanna light blue. Is this mall level?

I don't know anything about colognes though, just a spray on the neck when im going out to something that involves women, and when I go work at an office thats above casual dress.

Not very sophisticated, maybe.

all of those are actually really well made, complex scents that get respect on fragrance boards like Basenotes - kudos to you!

i like the ones mentioned bc in my experience they work in hot and cold weather - it just depends on the application. well, maybe with the exception of Burberry London, that stuff seems suffocating in the summer.

I don't wear fragrance often, but I like Musc Ravageur (Frederic Malle), CdG 53, and Terre d'Hermes. I'm also thinking about getting a bottle of CdG Avignon, because smelling like high mass in a medieval cathedral sounds cool.

. I just got a bottle of Guerlain Pamplelune for my grapefruit fix.

Oh, lots and lots. But I'll suggest anything from D&G Pour Homme and Dior Eau Sauvage to Bvlgari Aqua and Polo Blue to Terre D'Hermes and Concentree Orange Vert to Prada Amber and Mugler Cologne, etc. The list goes on and on...

I've got a decent rotation but probably my most commonly used ones are Guerlain's Vetiver, YSL Rive Gauche and Hermes Terre D'hermes. Not the most sophisticated ones, but these probably get the most regular use. I can't always smell like something crazy.
