He sells a lot to NBA, NFL and Rap guys.

It really is kind of gaudy but is fun to wear and have everyone look at you.

I know Jacob the Jewelers story, and I think that he had pretensions to compete with Harry Winston in some areas while also selling to Detroit gangsters.

My friend is focused and pretty much the undisputed Bling Bling King.

This is the boutique version in platinum limited to 30 pieces. It comes on a black croc strap with the bright orange rubber for change. I have only ever worn it on the orange strap once but frequently wear this watch on its original black strap with casual wear.
There is a normal version in stainless steel which is black dial with red details instead of the grey dial with orange details. It's a quite popular sports watch for people who can wear large watches.

Either we must flip popular watches quickly for a profit or hold on to them for a loooong time. With a nice one like that GP, I would just keep waiting.

The watch itself is beautiful but the band lets it down in my opinion. Its not thin enough and would probably look better in a crock skin or shinny lizard like the old Cartiers did in the 70's etc

I agree - clipping the end of the strap to make it fit is not ideal and there are plenty of options of cheap straps so this watch deserves a strap of the proper size.
