I don't think I am capable of asking questions, or needing info SF is able to provide. This is no fault of SF, I think I just tend to ask things so peasant-y that no one seems to know what the hell i am talking about or its not something anyone seems to be willing to admit knowledge of or experience with.

I searched, asked, searched, and still didn't get a single response not even an 'i have no idea' or 'it looks cool', 'that looks like ****' in regards to my questions about Klein Tools' totes.

this is what the one i want for my laptop/gear looks like

it is 100$, any ideas on if this is reasonable/unreasonable/etc ???

The canvas is 'heavy duty number 8 natural' and It seems like high quality the bottom is not leather it is vinyl, but the handles and straps are. It is made in USA, and afaik klein is a reputable brand.

I am just not sure if I can do better?

anyone have any random fashion thoughts w/ regards to the tote above?

for that price i think you can do better i dont think it looks worth the 100 at least aesthetically but others might disagree for starters, the filson tote bag (#261) i think would look better and i know for certain it's well constructed if you sign up for newsletter you get 15% off at jackspade and you could get something for that price that would look better maybe barbour too

Doesn't look like a laptop bag, unless its very tall you are going to have to center the laptop in the middle and have it flop around inside.

filson 257 is good for laptops and suits your style but its double the price of that.

I think the Should I or Shouldn't I Buy thread would be much more productive if people posted more fits. It helps to have an idea of the person's style and how they wear things when considering whether it's a good purchase or not. Trying to judge the piece when it's out of context is cool, but realistically it's not very useful.

No, sorry, I didn't mean to imply anything about you. It really was just a random fashion thought. I like the bag you posted, though. However, I don't think it really looks like a laptop bag. You might be better off with a messenger style bag. If you just need a bag for other random items I think it's a fine choice.

my wife suggested a doctors bag maybe...

I am wanting to carry the same thing most would carry in a tote... I might just pull the trigger on the klein one, and look for some kind of padding/wrap for my laptop.

I like the klein tools one, its made in USA and filson are nice, but even in omaha i see filson quite a bit... its classic, but if i can have a bag 30 other people don't have for half the price i think thats where i'm at.

I get this, but maybe if its 100≥ there is a reason so few own it.

idk, its guaranteed too... and 100$ is more than i've spent on a single item since i had to buy books in college.

I will have to look into filson... maybe one of those collabs w/ UO will turn up on the bay.

any other accesible brands that are American, (accesible being less than or close to 100$)?
