That doesn't look like 7cm. Why would Drake even make a 7 cm tie, that's ridiculous. I wish they made wider ties.

Thank you, young men. The tie is indeed one of the Drakes tussahs, in this iteration, one made for A Suitable Wardrobe in 3.25" guise.

Hmmm. Well, Neo has a better eye than I -- and to each his own, of course -- but I believe you'd look good in camel, too. I have yet to see you in a color that isn't flattering.

Interesting. I generally associate monochromatic shirt/tie combos with detective dramas, such as Law and Order and all its spinoffs. For a long time on NYPD Blue (and that's going back a while), Jimmy Smits was wearing nothing but dark solid shirts with slightly darker solid ties. That's when I first started mimicking the look. Made me feel like a badass.

Luckily it is close by, 10 mins from the office. It is all billable, so I care not!

Been a while. Was in Muscle Shoals, AL of all places for the last couple of days. Rolling Stones recorded pieces of Sticky Fingers there. Go figure.

Thanks gents. The usual folks are bringing it. Enjoyed Nii, Spoo, PG, Vox, Gnatty very much.

Hey Nii, I don't remember exactly but the ensemble you had on then made you look"washed out" -- even with your complexion. However, I do think we get away with more intense/vibrant colors or relegate to contrasting the camel ie. with white or navy. I tried wearing all camel brown today -- it was a mess. So I swapped out the jacket for one with more contrast. Et voila.

^^Nice combo, g-nat. I'm binging on Stones this week. Like the bow.

Today's wishing it-was-summertime ensemble. I <3 my sweet and feathery Panta shantung tie.
