What to wear with linen pants?

This past weekend, I wore some white linen pants with a pink oxford shirt with the sleeves rolled up and Allen Edmonds Weybridges. The shoes weren't ideal, but I think it still worked.

The word stone always confuses me. To me they are cream really. Tan is like a safari colour isnt it? Ecru?Originally Posted by VictorC

I just got the Allen Edmonds Reveres in Stone and agree that it's more like cream.

Just about any cool summer shirt, polo, sweater, or tee will do. The only thing I'd avoid is wearing a linen shirt with linen pants. Too much linen can be a bad thing. Better to mix textures.Originally Posted by montecristo#4
+1 A linen shirt goes well with some light poplin chinos. I prefer a darker linen shirt - harder to see all the wrinkles.

Thanks for trying to explain. But colour confuses me in general. Now, Khaki, that is another colour that is a bit weird. I bought a pair of combats and the colour was described as khaki. But to me they look green.
