I am confused. I wear an 11 in Chucks and Clarks DB. I thought I'd done my research correctly and needed a 45 in the Achilles Mid. Found a pair and they're definitely a size too long. Scored a pair in 44 a week later and they're a half-size too short. Am I missing something here? Seems to be a big jump in fit. I know the white mids are about a million years old and all, but they're kind of a "Mini-grail" for me and I really want 'em as a basic sneaker, instead of my 500th pair of beat up Chucks.

I need something unusual. If anyone could pick up a pair of the safari boots in olive nylon, or (and better yet) a pair of shelltoes (not captoes, but the shells), low being better, but highs are good as well, in either the beige/white or light grey suede, size 43, I'd be much obliged. If it is a true sample sale, iirc, CP showroom samples are either size 43 or 42. I think they are actually 42, so we could both be SOL. You are not actually looking for something that unusual though, Those are current season.
