Maybe 'Jeeves' wouldn't have approved but I finally went with the tie in the second picture in the end...(the first tie was a blue knitted one (N&L), in case one can't see it well- I didn't have time enough to take other photographs.)

Nice vibe. The contrasting trim on the edge of the brim is a little too vivid for me.

Drakes tie? I've seen it somewhere recently, anyway, and wondered how that colourway would look IRL. Works nicely with the clean shirt/suit choices.

FWIW, I think you made the right choice. Brightens things up nicely.

Thank you. Yes, the shirt is the adjusted Whittaker/Dege & Skinner try on. I really like the new collar and the fit adjustments. There's one last thing that I want changed, and then I think we're home free on having the rest of the order made up.

You must be the first of the post-Cameron Britons, representing a new wave of Englishmen who care about sock color.

I'm with you. Believe it or not, I just grabbed those Gallos without too much thought. If I had thought, I would have picked something else. Let's blame it on sprezz.

Between my allergies and the 6 game hockey tourney I played in this weekend, I feel like I've been hit by a truck...and the suit fit me better in the fall, 10 pounds more muscle in my chest/shoulders and upper back. Hard to tell, but the square is one of gshen's new spring ones...awesome pastels in it. Tie is raw silk T&A and shirt is T&A Vintage. Suit=BR Monogram

As maligned as BR is, and sometimes, deservedly so, I thought the Monogram line had some pretty decent stuff. I'm bummed I missed out on that d/b, since I've been looking for a reasonably priced d/b jacket.

Cigars of the day go to Phat Guido and Vox for their ties, amongst other things, such as the rest of their ensembles Fabrics of the day - Gaz and Gregaz. Photography: sidewinder13 and yfyf (also, nicest meetup photographs) NYR, I have quite the thing for older Turnbull & Asser. Well played
