Thanks, gents ... the coat is actually not all the slubby ... it just develops dingleberries that I don't always have time to shave. Guess that adds to the look ... I will try to space the groomings out even more.

Yes, my ankles got wet. On the other hand (or foot), they dried quicker than socks would.
