Found a sweet, mint condition DB Martin Greenfield navy blue w/gray pinstripe lightweight flannel. Absolutely beautiful, from 2001 and only $20. The handsewn shoulders were fantastic as was the softness of the fabric.

Now for the bad part: It was about a 54L custom job with short arms and what I would guess to be 48W 28L pants.

I almost bought it for the fabric....

Back when I was still into film, I had quite a large collection of vintage cameras(50+). I picked up a Leica R3 from a garage sale, a Leica rangefinder, a Rolleiflex medium format, a Rolleiflex mini, and a Minox. They are out there, and it sounds like you may just have the luck needed to find one. Keep the faith.

"Sure! Suzy come escort this gentleman to the back so he can look through the suits!"

That's exactly how I found a Super 150s R. Caruso suit a few weeks ago. The place had 100+ suits out the back, easily. Zegna, PZ, Canali, Corneliani, Caruso, Vestimenta among them.

So I go to my favorite thirft store and I see what looks to be a dusty old pair of loafers. Upon further inspection I see they are Polo Ralph Lauren, my interest is perked then I take a closer look and it seems they were never even tried on let alone worn not a single mark on the soles/inners. My size, I gave them a quick whip down and threw some conditioner on them so I could show you guys cause I am pretty excited! I think they were left to accumulate dust on someone's shelf, they still need some shoe cream in areas but I couldn't wait to post them.

(Everyone please keep in mind my shoe rotation: 1 pair of AE and a beat up old pair of Bostonians (they are so terrible it is unimaginable) I just don't have the money for new shoes now, big score for me!)

Just getting in to this whole fine fashion world, anyone know the make/quality of the shoes? Thanks for all the motivation guys!

At first glance, they look like a pair of PRL 'Horatio' Loafers from fairly recently. I'm not sure if this is true, as there are no markings of 'Made in Italy' - if they are, you hit a major score (retail +/- $350). Either way, a very nice looking pair of loafers and congrats!

That's an awesome score. Cordovan?

Yesterday, I found a pair of plain toe imperials in brown pebblegrain with the leather soles but they were marked at $25. They were my size. Walked around in them a bit but didn't buy them. They're nice shoes.

perfect 44R Oxxford and 46 Brioni.

The Brioni is has 2 tiny circles of fabric missing, but otherwise excellent.

Open to trades or will post on ebay.
Im 42R 16.5/33 and 34 waist

have no idea what they're worth on resell, do you?

I went to a flea market instead of my usual op shops this week. Mostly tat, but some diamonds in the dust.

The ties are (top) Charvet and Etro and (bottom) two Bijans. The green Bijan is marked 2/4 and is a lot heavier silk, so I assume it's a limited edition.

The squares are (from top) Santostefano/Italo Ferretti, Bijan and Bijan.

I idly picked up a pair of spectacularly ugly shoes, before I realised what they were. Some carbon fibre sole cycle shoes in my size, with cleats that fit my pedals.

I found exactly what I needed today - a couple work suits, nothing spectacular. I found a navy multistripe Hickey Freeman Collection suit, a charcoal HSM Gold Trumpeter suit, and a glen plaid HSM Gold Trumpeter. They all had alteration tags on them. It looks like the guy bought them, had them altered, and either never wore them or returned them to Nordstroms. Two of the three fit, but the glen plaid is too big(44R ~34x32 - available for trade).

Also found a Boss lambswool sportcoat, a Hilditch & Key shirt, and an Etro shirt.

I also had pretty good luck yesterday. I hit a little out of the way place while my wife and son were next door shopping and found 3 RLPL sportshirts and dress shirts by Zegna, Hickey-Freeman, and Ike Behar. All are a perfect fit, look barely (if at all) worn, and were fresh from the dry-cleaners. I'm surprised by the Behar because it has thick buttons. I've never seen that on a Behar before but the tags on this one say "for Neiman Marcus" so it must be how they requested it.

$3 at a local Salvation Army (plus another $6 to get some stains removed professionally) Looks stunning in person. It's wool. Can I get your thoughts/ feedback?

Thanks. I thought my other Behars were good finds until I put them up against that one. You're right: the quality is night and day. Surprisingly, I've also recently found some private label Nordstroms that have been phenomenal.

One of the RLPL's turned out to have arms that were too short. Its odd because I thought the haul all came from same dude. Would it be a crime to have a tailor make it a s/s shirt? It's a light tan HB straight collar, XL, with approx. 33" sleeves if someone wants to trade or buy.
