Quoddy Boat Shoes MEGATHREAK

Just received my Dawson Moccasins in the mail today!!!!

Quite the surprise, since I did not receive any email regarding a shipping notice/confirmation... surprises are nice!

For any future buyers thinking about ordering from their site, I purchased mine on Feb.25, and received them on May.5 --- 10 weeks waiting time from date of ordering to date of receipt. Though, I ordered a pair of Dawson Mocassins ... I'm assuming that they don't make these as frequently as the bluchers, boat shoes, maliseet oxfords, or boots in general (I have yet to see the Dawson on any stocklist of any carrier) which may account for a long wait time. who knows.

Either way, they are beautiful! and fit perfectly (I sized down 1/2 of a size, not because of recommedations, but through their measurement chart listed on their website).... they're quite stiff; can't wait to break them in!

I bought the black camp mocs from them the previous run. They are my go to black casual shoe this summer. It's pretty hard to find a good black moccasin, this one does the trick

I just took a look at Leffot's selection....nice color combos. I still think I like the blucher better than the maliseet. I am going to grab the navy suede from Winn Perry.

Which do you guys like better? Overall I like the color of the peanut (looks great in person), but I'm thinking the brown chromexcel looks a bit dressier and may be more versatile.

Thoughts? I actually bought the peanut but I'm thinking about exchanging it for the chromexcel
