^But the last time I've seen an Asian girl squat at the gym was like when I was squatting, and I'm not even an Asian girl.

can't believe that people are hatin on the Economist. It is one of the only print publications worth paying for. I have subscribed for years and never once thought about dropping it.

This is my first job where I need to dress appropriately for work, so I'm a bit clueless.

The jacket has very faint pinstripes, which leads me to believe this may be somewhat difficult, but could I pair this with black/dark charcoal gray pants? Here I am with a pair of dark gray pants, ignore the fact that the jacket hasn't been tailored and the shirt/pants are a little messy, more interested in the combination.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not an MC suiting whiz, then again considering the pattern matching abominations that side comes up with that may be a good thing, but I'd say an orphaned pinstripe jacket would look off.

Technically speaking you should stay away but I don't see why that jacket couldn't be paired with black pants to good effect. Basically black or grey pants can work but you have to make sure the colours aren't too near or the effect will be off...

Nobody here is hating on The Economist. I said I liked the magazine, but with a few reservations. And ppllzz said NOVA and audiobooks are better, which I cannot comprehend at all! That's about the extent of the hate.

Just in case anyone's interested I have an Ervell oxford in blue, medium for sale. I'm bummed I missed that sale earlier.

Congrats. Now all you need are some pony hair sneakers to go with your new black tunic. The guys in risk management will love ya!
