I might be interested in a pair too but could someone post a pic of exactly how it looks? And is it usually mid-cut or low-cut?

Thanks!

Fyi there are a couple different kinds of German Army Trainers, which size differently. I have 2 pair, one in each style, and the size 280 in one style are slightly SMALLER than the 270s in the other....

RFX45: I'll post a picture for you of mine with my MMM high tops for a comparison of the sole and shape when I get off work today.

And all real German Army Trainers are low cut.

I meant the authentic german army trainers, as in the ones made in the 70s, not MMM's "Replica", are all low cut.

Interesting. I'd never seen those before. I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

I would say no because when I would put extra insole on top of the existing insole it usually slips and move around when I'm walking, but that could just be me. Another thing to consider though is how big would the shoes look if you go a size bigger.

havent considered that. I have small feet, so I don't know if it would look odd, but then again it might. I'm 5'7'' with size 8US (40-41 EU). The Lanvins are 8UK and I wanna kop, but I am afraid.

I got 2 pair off German ebay, one for $45 shipped, and the other for $55 shipped. Imo they are an absolute steal at that price, considering canvas Chuck Taylors sell for around the same thing, and these look a million times better.
