+1 on Launer. Also Swaine Adeney. Now 150 quid, unfortunately.

Went to Hermes, they had the usual billfold design and also a nice one with a vertical orientation for the credit cards, was $1100.

Just bought the Swaine Adeney Brigg in London Tan. It's OK. I guess I'm not a big fan of soft/thin calfskin.

Currently, I spoke with Bea from AIP who is making one to my specifications.

Please post a photo when it's finished.

My wife has twisted my arm and made me carry a red wallet which (in the right nuance of red) she could only find from Tod's.

Fortunately, I will only need to carry this wallet throughout the year of the Tiger (until February 2011) but I guess it will have to be dusted off when the Tiger comes around again 12 years later.

Upside is that I am lately less eager to pull out my wallet and pay for dinner.

Valextra makes several nice, slim wallets. They would be my recommendation

That leather is so very beautiful. However, I am convinced that there were about 500 tonnes of it since GC never seems to run out. More than I'd like to spend on a wallet, but maybe one day when I'm a big timer.

I currently have a Valextra that I quite enjoy.
