Yeah, Japanese company so dress code is asinine. I dunno, just never really felt comfortable in suits. .. I like loose t-shirts, jeans/sweats, and overpriced leather jackets, all my wardrobe is stuff that, stuff I can lounge around in or wear out, that looks better with some creases and wear. I have a pocket square, I don't know where it came from, but I don't even know how to fold it

If he's going to Japan, he WANTS it to be black (beaten by pics). Every Japanese dude ever wears black suit black tie black shoes white shirt. You don't want to stand out.

Maybe you should go Ivy/Trad? That's the easiest context in which suits are creative and fun.
