I don't hate patch pockets. I'm not in love with them, either. I prefer the first suit though.

I've wanted some wax coated black raw denim for a while, this seems to be the best option for me. Unless anyone knows of an alternative with a similar fit.

I have the Nudies, denim quality is nothing special, coating is nothing special, and the pocket detail bugs me a lot- but they do have some stretch to them. Which could be a plus? I think April 77 also makes a black coated jean. Or a coated corduroy or something.

^^ I actually have the 210s, am going to sell them soon. The cut doesn't work for me.

I do love the denim they use though. The stitching is black on the SJDBCs though so I don't care.

Good deal - just be careful of washing the SJDBC's, the coating seems to be less resilient than others. Actually, I don't have any experience with coated jeans outside of the Nudies, so maybe they're all fairly flimsy. At any rate, I wouldn't put them in the washing machine. But you probably know that.

i normally like cropped suits but i dont really like it here with a wider body (i.e. not really slim). if it were slimmed down a bit i might like it. this looks a bit boxy to me
