Haha, no, not really (I think). My special occasion max is usually a pre-dinner cocktail, wine with dinner, and an after-dinner drink. I really wanted one of those ^^^ after dinner, but I had decided to do two of my pre-dinner cocktails instead, and I'm pretty responsible, unfortunately.

SUFFERING BASTARD
1 oz Bourbon (Buffalo Trace)
1 oz Gin (Hendrick’s)
1 oz Lime Juice (I used half lemon/half lime)
1 dash Angostura Bitters
4 oz Ginger Beer (Barritt’s)

This is one of those drinks that is perfect for a warm friday evening. I actually used the very last ounce of my Buffalo Trace that had been steeped with vanilla and orange. The overall effect was incredible. But, then again, I'm a sucker for any drink that includes ginger beer.

I started a tumblr blog with the same theme as this thread...even using "What are you drinking right now" as a tagline.

I hope nobody finds it uncool to do this but I searched around and found the same name and concept being used on a lot of other forums and websites so didn't feel it was proprietary. But please let me know if anyone thinks otherwise. I am certainly not trying to degrade the forum or this thread...it is one of my favorites.
