What about that new Samsung Galaxy S? That one is gonna have a keyboard and all.
Que? There is no keyboard on the iPhone. *****.
Yeah.... I effed up, meant <del> a different samsuck</del> The Galaxy S Pro
For like two minutes.
So... anybody got a N1 on AT&T? Is it true you get the exact same plan as you would with an iphone, even if you buy the N1 at full price? At least T-mo gives you a break on their plan if you're willing to drop 500 bucks for the damned phone yourself.
I'm pretty sure you don't have to tell them what phone you are using.
I think his point is that carriers claim that contracts are to subsidize the cost of the phones which they give to you for less money. Since you're buying the N1 at full price, AT&T should offer you a cheaper rate.
I don't really see the point of a having a phone off of contract if you know you'll be sticking with the carrier though. It's not like you can take the T-Mo N1 and use it on AT&T or vice versa.
Well, technically, you can. But the 3G won't work.
I'm aware. But what's the point of having a crippled phone limited to Edge/whatever?

What was the point of buying an iPhone that didn't have 3g capability to begin with? Millions of people did that.
