I think you should focus more on your pants than on the jackets. While some of the coats are better than others, they are all, at worse, very servicable. Your pants, on the other hand.......Originally Posted by edmorel

but seriously, I think if he is going to wear the no break trousers, the openings have to be narrower (as was mentioned earlier). Also, on the some of the wool pants, there is a lot of extra fabric in the thigh/upper area. I think the Steed's suit pants look a bit incongruent with the jacket, the coat is rather fitted and the pants look like bags in the upper area.
All that being said, Monti should be commended for posting this stuff for our scrutiny, it is one thing to talk about this brands but quite another to see them in the flesh and also quite informative.

Agreed that many of his pants appear "off" for one reason or another, but keep in mind that not all of that is the fault of the tailors. Monte appears to have large hips and thighs. I don't mean that as an insult. It simply is what it is. I have a similar issue with my body; years of cross country running have given me seriously imbalanced thighs compared to the rest of my frame. In my case, the discrepancy is even more prominent than it is on Monte's body, as my upper body is very thin.
It's not easy to tailor pants correctly for the, ahem, generously be-hipped and be-thighed man. I agree that a much better job could be done here, but I would caution against expecting outcomes on Monte that just won't be possible given his body shape.

A fine collection, I could not just choose one. The tux was exceptionaly nice and I loved several of the sport coats.

Maybe the OP can post more pictures of his Attolini bespoke jacket paired with...if he has any, Ambrosi trousers to see how they match?
