Where are those for sale online? I'm not a big fan of boots so I havent looked too hard at Alden, but that top pair is real nice.

Epaulet says I can send them back to Alden for repair...we'll see how that goes. So I will have none of the two pairs of Indy boots that I ordered to wear...

Why do these type of problems happen ONLY on the Indy bots made on chromexcel leather? Is the type of leather the culprit or the combination of other factors, such as leather lining, type of sole etc.? Has anyone experienced similar problems with other Indy boots, including cordovans? 405 is about to lose its fame of being connoted as Indy boots.

Are they horrible overpriced compared to US prices?

20% VAT discount for non-EU customers puts it at around $660 depending on the day's exchange rate. #8 longwings at shoemart are $599. They're a little inflated.

Is it just the lighting or is the Summer Oxford tan suede different from the other two?

If they made these in navy suede it will be copped w/o hesitation, especially since it's on a barri last.

I can't believe I'm still waiting for the black indys, it's coming to a 4-5 months wait now (I put my name on the list in mid-December) and last I called was a month ago and I was suppose to be #1 on the list for a size 8E and they said I have been #1 on the list for a while but still nothing.

Just wanted to vetn a bit.
