Any recommendations for something that covers casual dress as well? (From Amazon reviews, this seems to be light in the casual dress area.) - Keith

With all this rain we're getting in NYC I've resigned to the fact that I need a decent trench coat. Can I get something decent for less than $200, and if so where? I want something gray with a belt, and if possible a cool liner.

Can shirt sleeves be lengthened from the shoulder seam? How much folding is usually done in the french seam at the sleeve cap? Thanks!

No clue. Those books have some classic "casual wear", but you will not find information on jeans, polos and such there.

Not that I'm aware of, a Ralph Lauren store might have their Black Label trench that fits your description, but it's way, way out of your price range and mine.

I wonder if it is improper to ask for natural shoulders, with almost no padding and at the same time roped shoulders ?

Soooooo, I can't PM anyone until I have 2 posts. Forgive me for wasting space here, but I didn't know where else to put it.

I've been on the forums at AAAC for a while and just opened an account here. I look forward to becoming an active participant.
