Thanks Parker. There's a good answer to your Fresco comparison question on the A&S Expats thread. The short version: Brisa is open weave but heavy and probably best suited to temperatures below 80 degrees.

I don't know which is Finamore's "standard" collar. All my shirts from them are MTM/O, and I don't recall whether the collars I picked were the one's they normally sell on RTW.

There's a small bit of padding, but it's minimal. I think Vox once referred to it as "wadding". Search his Steed/drape posts to see if you can find the full scoop.

Not feeling the love for the Steed number. The waist suppression is excessive. Your waist looks smaller than the thighs of the suit, which to my "untrained" eye seems to create a lack of vertical cohesion/balance. I think the jacket either needs less waisting ... or the pants need to be slimmed down a little. Just my $0.02.

Thank you. The knee is healing quite splendidly. How is the wrist? Does not seem to affect your photography skills

Criticism is welcome. The same has been said of several of my other jackets from Steed, Rubinacci, and Attolini. Any tailor would be challenged with my physique. I've competed in endurance sports for the past 14 years, and this has resulted in sub-5% body fat, a 30" waist, cyclist thights, and a lean upper body. Steed adds bulk/drape to the chest, which further accentuates my narrow waist. Rubinacci adds a bit less to the chest but even more to the shoulders. Attolini is the leanest throughout of the three. I'll post a comparison of all three within the next few weeks. You can be the judge which, if any, works in your view. (I've enjoyed all of them.)

Cheers.

But what if I don't have one? It's official that I'm going to the Philippines till June 26th at least and then on to HK. Looking forward to meeting whoever wants to meet.

How about this: It sucked. JK. Damn! Was that predictable? Seriously though, you cannot wear that anywhere around me. You already outclass me. But that would take things to dangerous levels. Love today's scarf btw. Hope your Sat went well. Mine did.

Love this look - the bow is great. I think I'm looking at about 2 months before my linen suit is likely to venture forth.

I like this, particularly open where it balances better with the fullness of the trousers.

Nice look. I struggle to get focus on self-portraits whilst keeping dof limited.
