They all look nice, but the brown pair especially. Would kop in a heartbeat when the autumn season is nearer.

I'd also be interested in very light grey flannel (Lighter even than the light grey in the photo).

But until then, I look forward to seeing what summer fabrics become available.

Two thumbs up to this venture.

I do vaguely recall your original post about this. Incidentally, are those the BB chinos from the 80s that sometimes pop up in your WAYWRN pics?

Ed, pants look real nice!

Not them, but close...I think that they were canvas chinos from Murray's on Nantuckett.

Did Eric Glennie have some input on the crotchless models?

You should have named these pants "Bonobos" or something like that.

I am at work and can't get into the whole spiel but Bill pretty much hit on all the points, pants are made here in NYC, the waistband, tacking, pick stitching are done by hand. My goal is to make a quality product for a reasonable price. Will have a full launch in the fall of this year but between now and then will be offering various pants on the forum and also working on two other products which I hope to have shortly. Everything will be made in the NY/NJ area and the people I am using have made/make for many of the big names that we discuss here.

to answer a few questions asked on this thread, the pants are lined to to the knee, a 34 inch waist will be an exact 34 (no vanity sizing), have a 10.5 inch rise, an 8 inch leg opening (and the leg opening will still be 8 inches even after you hem the inseam) and there will not be an option to have button cuffs, sorry, these are not in the Ambrosi league

In terms of fabrics, the next batch (10-12 days) will have more summer/year round stuff, including a cotton/cashmere khaki (Zegna fabric) and some very nice wool along with some GTH pants.

In terms of these, if you are interested, yuo can PM me and I will send you measurements and you can buy a pair if you like. I will have an official threak hopefully by next week but this set of pants are ready to go (pants will come with tape/fabric for heel guard and two extra buttons).

Big Ed - Congratulations on the Panta (unofficial) launch! They look great.

I have never understood why people carry wallets in rear pockets - AND sit on them. It is so uncomfortable. Haven't you guys heard of sciatica? Keep your wallet in your jacket - your back will thank you.

These fine trousers are lined in front to above the knee, Italian style.

Yes, that's the story I was thinking about. I hate it when I get the storyteller's mixed up. Will edit.

Congratulations Ed!! Will the summer weights be available for this season or after the first run of the 4 beauties in Vox's review?

I wonder where Ed goes from here? Humble beginnings selling these pants out of the trunk of his car, door to door, on B&S and then voila, he changes his name to Edwino Laureno, launches a flagship store on Madison ave and jacks up his prices by 1000%.

You watch.

Very SF Ed, can you tease us with the summer fabrics, if possible?

Very SF

Totally. I'm so over these pants. Only because there are none in my size. :unthrilled:
