Ignore the "myspace" look, this is what I usually look like with short hair and was my go to cut back in High School.

Hair at it's medium length stage.

And the longest my hair has ever been.

I just got into really caring about how I look, but I've always been terrible at hairstyle. I pretty much have been doing the same cut for the past few years and I'd like to try something new. Currently my hair is almost as long as it has ever been and it's ready to be cut.

I'd like a short or medium hairstyle, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

leave it longer on top, but have them thin it way out and get it cut with a razor, bring in the length on the sides and the back with clippers at least to a 5. you need to go to a stylist for this, tell them you want it more piecey. I think that would work well for you.

p.s. also change your hoody, this haircut won't go with it.

here's some random pic i found, general idea but shorter on the sides. i rather like this look actaully.. i might have to try it.

Ha, my buddy rolled something like Taeyang's last summer too.

Thanks for the advice, I might try that first one.

What's with the asians trying to look so hard all the time? A lot of them I see walking around have a generally angry looking neutral face. Maybe they don't realize it?

I think it's to combat the majority who look really, really soft.

asians smile less than americans, it's a cultural thing. i really don't agree with asians "trying to look hard" though, i mean... out of all the ethnicities on the planet, i think they are very low on the totem pole of trying to look hard or glorifying violent personas.

edit: overlook the profile pic of the ten year old assailant.

see square face - http://menshair.about.com/od/haircar...faceshapes.htm considering your wide chin and jawline... doing some sort of vertical thing would probably elongate your face. That being said, looks like you've got a bit of a "round" face and body, so a bit of thickness and bulk helps balance that out. If you go sides shaved and mohawk look like the pic above, your jaw will just look even wider.

short forehead... ie you should add some pointy height, not douchey, but some vertical (like the Nick Lachey pic. and yeah, just ignore it being Lachey). When your hairs swept over your face like in pic 3, it hides half your face and emphasized a wide chin and jaw, not good IMO.
