A Norweger on a Budapester raised toe last...but on a monk strap is also growing on me

I find the 3636 last to be the most inelegant one that Vass offers

Like Fritzl...am not sure I desire 360 goyser stitching

Am still waiting to hear more about the Mystery Budapester shoemaker.

Can anyone tell if this is this a single or double sole? (or a double-to-single)

I own the same Old English 2 in a single leather sole and it looks just like the one pictured

Agreed. To my eye they look like a single sole.

Parker - have you figured out your size yet in Vass? Hopefully yes as all the praise heaped upon them is true.

Thanks folks. According to the powers of search function deduction, I am a 41.5 in the F last. I'm going to place an order for the Ye Olde English II and see how it goes. (I'm usually a 8UK and a 8.5/9 US)

Thinking dark cognac or dark brown. And I like whatever sole treatment is on that shoe above. Sounds like single it is.

we haven't used him, yet. sterling gillette and me have to throw the dices, who is first.

sg is opting for materna but for a two eyelet derby(pictured in the sf gallery by von Rothbart)

his name is Karl Weiner, his workshop is in Vienna. i dunno, if he speaks english. if you have more questions ask or pm me.
