Where was this Vass shop?

Is it possible to find a Vass leather lace-up blucher for under $500? Bergdorf doesn't have such an animal, even on sale!

It seems the U last has a high-ish instep. Can anyone comment on the instep height of the F last? Would it work for a flat, low instep foot?

I have board-flat feet and feel more comfortable in F than in U. F fits me almost as well as bespoke. It is, for me, by far the best RTW last there is.

If I wear a US8.5D on the AE #5 last (Jefferson), what should I be getting for the F last?

Is it true that from F to U, one has to size by by 1/2?
