I spoke to CS - they are going to get the pricing on the mocs changed. If there are any pricing issues just call your order in. In addition, use the coupon codes over the phone for free ship. All orders over $50 get a $10 gift card (mails separately) for a future purchase.

I got the ranger mocs in navy and tan. Looking forward to it. May do nantucket red khakis later on and maybe a plaid or two, we'll see.

I'm really digging these.

It's as if Clark's and Bass had an illegitimate bastard child. No longer Desert Rapists, but New England Rapists.

Agreed, the look great.

When we get some additional info on sizing (e.g., sized as reg bean mocs and bucs), ill definitly get the prep rape´s and two pairs of ranger mocs.

**** guys, I'm torn.

All else being equal, which of these is the better purchase?

That's what I did, based on my friend's recommendation. I'll give you an update when they come if you want.

Overall a lot more boring then I expected. There are a couple items like the canvas cloth pants in dark red I may buy, but I was hoping to be a little more excited with what they are offering.

I can't think of a good reason why you wouldn't get both of those.

AND AGAIN...NO TALL SIZES. J Crew can do this, why not Bean?

+1

It drives me insane that more companies don't make Tall sizes. If JCrew, Gap/BR and Polo can do it, why can't other companies?

Just in case anyone was curious, I emailed LL Bean to get some measurements on their Trench in size small:

1. Shoulders: 18 1/4"
2. Pit to pit: 22 1/2"
3. Sleeve (from the middle of the collar seam): 35 1/2"
4. Length (collar seam to the bottom of the coat): 33"

Shoe info: no wide sizes are planned. I´ll just get a D and expect stretching in the ranger mocs. Have reg blucher mocs in D which works just fine. Im surprised people are sizing down, from my experince, Bean shoes (except duck boots) are true to size.
