Fast (and free) shipping and great service makes up for the slightly higher prices.

Where are Barbours made nowadays? England? China? I had one from New Zealand for a while.

Well, my Beaufort is made in England, but it's quite old. Don't know about newer versions...

My Trooper jacket from end-2008 says "Made in England" as well.

Thanks for all the answers!

Am I right when I say that the Bedale is shorter than the Beaufort?

This thread was made to find good European sellers of Barbour. So I shouldn't ask for recommendations from other users? Quite silly actually.

Try Cox the Saddler. They are excellent for Barbour classics like the Bedale (not, however, for the newer pieces). Superfast shipping (at least to the US) and superb prices.
