I really like Explosions as well, I can only study with instrumental music and I found a couple other bands similar to them that I really enjoyed.

"If These Trees Could Talk"- Self-Titled Album

Social D is remarkably good at-work music.

Awesome spanish guitar instrumental called "Diem" by Rodrigo and Gabriela. They also did a great cover of Orion, a Metallica song:

Any more recs for fantastic spanish guitar please advise.

This is probably my favorite Butterfield album. it's the PBBB live at The Troubadour in LA. I can't remember the year but I have 1968 stuck in my head so it may be that.

Listening to new old vinyl tonight on the VPI:

Paul McCartney, Tug of War (love the Stevie Wonder numbers-funky!)
The Byrds Greatest Hits Volume II, original pressing (still sealed)
CSNY, Deja Vu (original pressing)
CSNY, Replay (promo "double Wally")
Jimi Hendrix, Axis: Bold as Love (very early 70s pressing), Spectacular!
