but I collect (edit - collected before my wife got pissed at the size of the collection) vintage luggage and steamers.. I have Goyards, LVs, but a croc Hermes is the Holy Grail for me. I fully expect to be outbid, but Im hoping to get lucky.

So were you the lucky bidder? It went for "only" $4,100.

Nah... I quit early. I really thought it would go for less, even though Im sure its worth much more... but I can pretty much guess that would be the only one of these you will see for a very, very long time. Thanks for showing it to us.

Thanks RJ.

I bought recently from the seller (pure_luxuryculture) with lots of Ettinger a Bamford and Sons cashmere v-neck. There are few more available
Bamford & Sons Woodman Cardigan Camel L
BAMFORD WoodmanV Neck Sweater/ Cream

Bamford have absurd retail prices, so called 'British Cucinelli', but the cashmere sweaters are very nice ,and for under 100 quid they seem good value. I'm tempted a bit now by a Bamford cord jacket (on B&S) or a grey cashmere double breasted w/ peak lapels. What are your opinions about Bamford? Made in Italy by whom?

Not sure who makes Bamford... I think their knits are not of the same quality as Cucinelli, though the esthetic is similar and quality seems decent. I thought a fair amount of their stuff was being made in China although I could be wrong.

I can't see what else that seller is selling easily since s/he is registered thru ebay.co.uk and I am too lazy to do an end run around it... actually no... am tripping... 5th espresso and 2 diet cokes woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

The sweaters are available through my links. Actually made in Italy. 'Organic' (?) cashmere, dyed with natural dyes from trees, woods, fruits , no ****
