how tall are you? I think our shirts run a tiny smidge long in the body and sleeves compared to the average shirt, but at the same time, they are not constrictingly tight. You could probably do the M if you like it fitted. I measure my p2p the same way btw, and shrinkage is more vertical than horizontal; it amounts to about a half inch in the height of the shirt after a shrink.

5'10", so about as average as it gets. Thanks for the quick answer. I might take the L and get it tailored/dry it hotter if need be. I'll think it over. I take it I just email the address to buy?

correct. I'd say if you are ~160, then a M would be ok, 170+ with a bigger torso/arms and you may want to do the L.

Hm, first I've heard of the oxford and I'm pretty excited, but wondering whether I'd be able to fit that black L. The pre-wash/diff p2p system is confusing me; anybody want to give me a quick sizing tip?

I usually look for shirts w/ at least 20.5" p2p measurements taken right at the bottom of the armhole. I'm a slightly chubby ~39" chest. Would M or L work better?

I'm 6'0, 165lbs and wear a medium. The shirt fits perfect, no constriction. I also have pretty broad shoulders.

I received my XL white oxford today. I love the fit and you're right, slightly long in the arms and torso, but nothing extraordinary. I think a warm wash will solve that. Shoulders fit great, torso is good, and the buttons are very nice.

The only thing is the forearms are a little tight, but I think some wear will get them just right. I just hope the circumference doesn't shrink much with a warm wash.

Will try to get fit pics up sooner than later. This shirt should get a lot of wear from me.

The shirts logically shrink the most in lengths and not so much at all in circumferences.

Going to the post office right now to pick up my black FQHH moto. So stoked. My white mid perforated CPs come tomorrow, so that should be a nice contrast between top and bottom.

Got my jacket a few hours ago. First impressions were that the leather and hardware are very solid quality. Beefy Number 10 (I think) zips all around. The leather is terrific. You are not going to get a better quality leather under $1.2K (see below for how I cam up with this number). Of course, the quality between different $1.5K+ jackets varies considerably. For example, recent Margiela sort of sucks, for the most part (insert jet inane comment here,) while Dries van Noten or Julius jackets tend to be fairly good quality.

The stitching is solid. I didn't find any dropped stitches, though there are a couple of places where the maker obviously had to go over a section a second time. I would say that I have seen more sophisticated finishing, but again, not at the midmarket level. Overall, construction is comparable to that of traditional American leather jacket specialists, who typically charge $1200 or so for a comparable make.

The cut is obviously very well thought out. The moto is something that is going to flatter any number of body types. I'd say that this is wear a lot of makers fall down. They concentrate on washes and construction, and end up with something very cool looking that looks good on 1% of the population (and not always the 1% buying the stuff). I think that cut combined with solid leather is really where ToJ stands out.

As a value proposition, ToJ can't really be beat. I really like the cut of the moto. Actually, it fits nearly perfectly. The only thing was that I (not Drew) over-estimated the length of my arms by about 1/2-3/4". The hide is tough as nails too, but it is still a fashion jacket. I know that Drew says that this thing weighs a ton, and compared to Rick Owens jacket, or a Margiela jacket, it does. However, it is considerably lighter than heavier motorcycle jackets, which often weight north of 10 lbs. It will definitely take a beating, but I wear things in like nobody's business. I'll take another picture in a year, and you'll see that it will look positively lived in.
