I note that more than three months have elapsed since Chan's November tour. I still haven't received my jacket. Since it is a summer-weight jacket this doesn't perturb me too much. However, my next appointment with Chan is three weeks from today, and I am getting a little uneasy about this. I alway like to be wearing my latest garment from Chan for the appointment, and this is cutting it closer than I'm used to. Have any of you, particularly on the East Coast, started getting your Chan duds from the November tour yet? If so, that would do something to put my mind at rest.

I got mine about a month ago. But I just had a fitting in Nov. I notice that they tend to finish up relatively quickly after a fitting.

I was told mine is delayed due to running out of fabric (minnis fresco which I'm sure is a popular choice). They said delivery is expected for late Feb or early March.

Haven't received my jacket yet. Have an appointment with Patrick in two weeks. Last time around I received my order about one week before my appointment.

I didn't realize that you used Chan as well. I am curious as to your experience between Chan and Mahon. I thought about trying Mahon when he was first starting out but his prices were a touch too pricey for me. Now Mahon is completely unavailable to new clients and I'm wondering what I missed.

My Chan jackets are quite fitted and clean - no drape. Kinda opposite to A&S style. What cut do you have Chan do for you?

I am also using Davies and Henry Poole at the moment. Need to get around if I'm going to have things to write about.

I use Mahon for DBs, and Chan for warm weather clothes. Plenty of photos of both on ASW.

I wonder if Chan is backed up because they closed for the Chinese New Years. I hear many stores in HK/China close for upto 10 days.

Don't know exactly how it works, but they don't mail it directly to you from HK, it goes to an agent in the US first. I imagine they send US orders over in batches to save on shipping cost. But I don't know.

If you e-mail and ask they'll tell you how long it's going to take. If you ask for a fedex number they'll give it to you, but IIRC I got the number after I got the package.

I received two pair of pants I ordered over a month ago. They weren't right. I returned them and have already received them back. However, I asked for a rush, and these were only pants, no jacket. I find that my past few orders are always delivered a few weeks later than Patrick estimated. I think people who see Patrick on the earlier tour dates receive their clothes much more quickly. Those of us on the west coast are last in line.
