I am not quite sure why everyone is so disappointed with the red chambray? I kind of like the sun washed look.

Did anyone who preorder the red chambray during January get any notification on it shipping? They told me 2/23 twice in January when I put my preorder in, and now it looks like April(according to the responses here)

I don't get it either. I wasn't excited about it at all, now from seeing the pics of what it actually looks like, it has attracted me into now wanting to have one for a couple of reasons: 1) All of the "work-wear" shirts I have are over 10 years old 2) Last year, I bought the white Tompkins pant and wore once because I couldn't figure out which outfit would make it look awesome. I think the red Chambray would give me the reaction I would want. Only grip is the price.

Honestly there is only about two people in this thread who don't like it. I think there has been much more of a positive reception on the shirt then negative.

Email J.crew asking them to preorder an item, give them the Style Number and you are good. You will need to give them address/way of payment/etc.

I just called up my local premium JCrew store, asked to speak with someone in the know and asked to preorder it. I didn't have the style number, but he figured it out based on the new unreleased catalog. Word is the shirts will begin to ship 03/13.

haha. even the description says what it is

Belstaff created this quilted waistcoat to be worn under their Trialmaster or Roadmaster jackets on cold, blustery days (it zips right in).
