2010 A8 v. 2011 A8

Conventional gearstick was dumped in favor of something resembling the thrust lever on a yacht.
Control knob was moved up from the old location and thus no longer under driver's fingertips.
The A8 undoubtedly possesses a well laid out interior. Subdued and functional. With firm seats and not-so-supple leather. Offering up all the visual drama of a plate of cold schnitzel. Zee German way.

teh maserati interior is all leather and suede. if you actually get the chance to sit in one, you'd know. the benz/audis/porsches are all plastic and leather. they're nice, but they're not pure luxury.

women literally purred in my former maserati...

Just in case 762 buttons scattered throughout the console were insufficient, Porsche designers added 300 more to be accessed by rear passengers

Are you guys saying that Aquaman would drive a Maserati?

Wood trim and leather... Those interiors are nice and all, but my mom's suburban has got it too. Could Porsche not thing of anything a little less tacky than using seat pouches? At least the Maserati looks a little more exotic, and the 7 series interior is nice as well.

Yup. All seem to be variations on the same theme. All remind me of Hyundai taxis in Seoul, which also have, wait for it, loads of cream "leather", (possibly) fake wood trim, a wide centre console with a couple of armrests and sat nav/computer screen and controls...blah blah.

Very nice, but where is the originality? Someone please remove their template and try something fresh.

This is like saying suits are all the same because they have lapels, sleeves, and button up the front.

You guys make such beautiful cars, but there's no way I can afford the maintenance on a car like this. I swear I can get a used one for ~60k, but how am I supposed to pay for everything else?!?!?!
