I actually had a collegue loose his job because of a person who reported to him's exit interview. the guy basically said "things are so bad even the department head is looking for work, and told us all that". the department head was terminated the same day

I usually use exit interviews as a last chance to make a good impression. If you leave them feeling nostalgic then your reference will be good. If you make them glad you're leaving then they'll say so in your reference!Originally Posted by Blackhood

I've got a week and a half left at my current job.
My boss emailed me our exit interview form today, with instructions to fill out my name and other info, and said that if I wanted to he'd talk it over with me.
