one minor gripe is that I thought they come with Riri zipper as on Gilt's site. However, mine do not have Riri zipper. Anyone else purchased these boots from Gilt? do they come with Riri zipper?

sale was a few weeks back. I bought it about 2 weeks ago from my waitlist as it was returned to Gilt.

they're pretty cool shoes. the zipper adds character to the boots.

this is crazy cool, especially with those laces. curious to know what a cobbler would charge for that.

i just had my wesco engineers resoled with full Cat Paws and it ran me $150.

I dont care what ya'll say, that modded DM is awesome! I had to come to grips with the sole style of the stock DM, and it has grown on me a little but the heel is still chunkier than I would like.

The shoe is gorgeous, seriously. I think it would give a lot of boots a run for its money (in my eye), reminds me of those limited edition Trickers.

It also helps that the uppers are nicely worn in.
