Today: 1940s vintage red/black plaid Emergency Garment jacket. HEAVY wool. Odd sized pockets at chest (one small, one large). Backwards pockets on the back, like if someone was standing in front of you, they could slip their hands in there and hug you. Maybe this was in case you were freezing in the woods and had to have body heat to survive. I have to post pix of this. It is too cool.
Pictures please. Just nabbed a 40s/50s woolrich hunting jacket. it had something that looked a small bird's bone in the pocket.
