Pictures please. Just nabbed a 40s/50s woolrich hunting jacket. it had something that looked a small bird's bone in the pocket.

Yes. Mine had what looked like crushed up pine needles. First I was hoping maybe I'd scored some pocket weed. No such luck.

Here's the backwards pocket on the back of the jacket. It's buttoned. One on each side of the jacket. Pockets are very deep.

Shot of the chest pockets and showing how front buttons have the hidden plaque, i.e., buttons are hidden when jacket is buttoned.

Give it to me straight, I can take it. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The only thing that's a nit is the bigness of the collar but I can get over that.

Defiantly not worth the 3 posts of pictures.

I was trying to show some of the details. that's all. The weird/interesting thing to me about this garment is the pockets arrangment. 1-the odd-matched chest pockets and 2-the backwards pockets on the back side.

Heavy ass jacket, by the way. Very heavy wool. Nicely lined. I dunno. Just a lot of details I find interesting. Fits well. It's marked as a 48 but fits like a 44. Then again, it was made in the 40s.
