Where do the black shoes come in?

Blue trousers are probably the easiest thing to match shoes with, anything from black to brown to tan can look good. The most versatile choice would probably be brown oxfords, I don't know which ones to suggest for <$100 though.

^^

In addition, navy trousers can also be matched with dark shades from the red colour group

Navy + black if you're on an interview or a mall cop...

Brown loafers and blue socks to match the pants work well.

Good luck.

You can wear just about anything with blue. Brown or burgundy works. You can do black with blue, but I think that brown or burgundy tends to look better.

But... you can't go wrong with black either. It's a matter of personal taste.

No it does not.

It does go with navy though. I personally prefer brown with blues, but your mileage may vary.

I would recommend something like weejuns in your price range. Not the nicest shoes by any means, but they're comfy and will never go out of style.

I'm a huge fan of burgundy/oxblood/merlot/cordovan. I think it pretty must goes with anything - navy, black, tan, grey, etc.

I often wear black shoes with navy trousers but will do both

If you chose to wear blue or navy pants then just wear black shoes. I agree with what the majority of the forumers here say, black goes well with any colors.

personally, I prefer brown over black...but black is ok too....
now back to your $100 budget..tough call...not sure if there are any SF approved items here for that budget...depending on your size, B&S or ebay...

from what I've learned here on SF, contact AE shoebank @ Retail Brookfield <[email protected]> give 'em your size and they will send a list..I realize that it may be over your budget, but if you squeeze in the extra dough, it is a better investment in the long run.....Next thing you know, you are dying for CJ, EG, Aldens...... damn SF
