It really is amazing. I haven't met one person that likes his acting nor have I met a girl who finds him attractive.

I actually like his acting and am not sure what all the bitching is about.

There must be something that Spielberg saw in him when he decided to essentially underwrite half of his career and make him and his offspring rich with a couple of scribbles on one contract. I personally don't see it but there must be something.

no one who works on the Street (or in mid/back office, okay maybe back) actually thinks labeouf is the right dude to play the part...

it really takes away from the genuine tone of the movie by placing such a pansy in a bulge bracket role.

as someone who's arguably favorite movie is barbarians at the gate (hate me), i'm not excited at all about this.. the teaser has michael douglas playing wallpaper merely b/c he was in the first movie..

however, i must say that hollywood is smart in casting ladouche, 'cause this movie is targeted at western/middle america wal-mart who wet their extra wide maxi-pads at the thought of labeouf, and now "know" the names of gs/ms/jpm/kkr/blackrock thanks to the recent media blitz.

they'll rush into theaters in bovine fashion after their book club meetings so they can chatter about ladouche to avoid having to bring up the topic of their own failed and pregnant offspring.

Because of this thread, I'm watching "Boiler Room" right now. It is, perhaps, the worst movie I've seen this year (and that includes Paul Blart and Big Mama's House). I hope Glengarry Glen Ross is better.

Boiler Room is awful

GGR is better but it's a filmed play - nothing interesting from a cinematographic perspective

most of the real kids on the real street are far more nerdy, ugly and pansy than LeBoeuf, to be fair.
