How do Barker Black fit. Do they run big or true to size. Considering a pair in the B&S forum but am unsure about sizing. Do they run the same sizing in brands such as Ferragamo and Allen Edmonds?

Any help is appreciated.

I have tried on exactly one pair so take this with a grain of salt. They were pretty typical italian shoes. True to size but a little bit long and a little bit narrow compared to an AE or an Alden. I wear AE or Alden 10.5D's with slightly thicker dress socks. I wear most italian 10.5Ds with thin dress socks.

They are not Italian, they are English.

For the most part, TTS, with one caveat, the Archdale tend to run a tiny bit narrower than the others that I have. My sample size is only 3 pair, so other opinions may vary.

I bought the Archdale in US 13 they were way too big. So I got a 12 and they were way too tight. I gave up.

Too big in the length or in the width as well?

Both. I stopped searching for them because the toe puff does something weird when the foot flexes, possibly due to the buttery soft leather. If you find pics of people wearing them you can see what I mean.

To clarify these are on the Harrington last. Does anyone here have experience with this last?
