I spent a week in county when I was 20. Since I was only in for a short time I was in the easy wing - no strip searches, cells were small rooms with four bunks apiece, etc..

Spent it reading ****** Stephen King and Patricia Cornwell novels and playing spades with gangbangers. Also lost ~10 pounds because the food sucked.

It was not the worst week of my life.

If your internet personas are like how you guys act in real life 99% of you would become someone's ***** within 48 hours.

+1

Worked in a downtown county jail while earning my master's...big midwestern city...

Not recommended to spend time there as an inmate under any circumstances, but people get used to it, I understand

Ok guys, Enough with the one liners. Let's hear some stories with some meat and potatoes. Ex. I shot some guy because he touched my motorcycle. After sitting in clink for a month fighting for my ******* life I was released on bail. Eventually, I was found innocent because I was clever in hiding the gun so the prosecution couldnt produce a murder weapon.

One night - was caught drunk driving.

Fortunately, they did not find the joint in my pocket. I was not brazen enough to light it, though.

Within a year-and-a-half, all three of my siblings were incarcerated, for completely unrelated crimes. My sister's crime made national news - literally (and no I won't elaborate), but my brothers' were pretty small-time. My older brother was out in less than a month.

My younger brother spent over a year in (dealing a buttload of MDMA, but he turned state's witness), but was enrolled in a program for good prisoners. He says it was the best time of his life

. He missed women, but he had everything paid for, was making money at a prison job, and just hung out and played basketball all day.

I've luckily never been arrested in my life. I remarkably managed to elude the police twice in my younger days (once for vandalism, once for what I guess would've been drunk & disorderly). The vandalism bit they actually brought the K-9 out for. WTF!?

At work when your inbox gets bigger than 500 Mb, you go to mail jail, which means you can't send anything until you are back under your limit. A good idea is to delete attachments and most of your sent mail folder. I am one of the more hardened criminals so I know all the tricks.
