I have a 5 year-old BR V-neck that has held up pretty well, too.

any thoughts on the new cadet jacket? I love the fit of the utility jacket, might just pick up a cadet jacket in black!

Tried on the lightweight chino today; I wanted the green color just for something different, but IRL it didn't go with anything other than white and heather grey

A poor fit for my mostly black, dark grey, and blue wardrobe.

Ended up with the less exciting but more practical dark tan (dill?) color.

I popped by the Men's Shop on B'way yesterday... they had a really cool looking waxed cotton cropped peacoat. It was a little pricey ($228) but had some awesome detail - chambray lining, corduroy trim around the collar and some other cool stuff too. Apparently the fireman's jacket will be in in a few weeks.

I could make all those colors you mention work with green.

Can the tan longwings really be sold out already?

We're sorry. This item has been so popular, it has sold out. We've got other great ideas--just call us 800 562 0258, we're here to help.

I like the ludlow suit but the waist is way too big. Is 7-inches actually alter-able for the tailors and still preserve the good look of the suit? Is it a lot of work for the tailors?

I doubt it.
It's either their market strategy or they just ordered a handful of them solely for a catalog shoot.
