if he were casually dressed then their are far better choices one could make then to pair a Blazer with metallic buttons with that combo.

Furthermore who wears black longwings with a pair of dockers.

You're awfully bent out of shape for someone who doesnt think my opinion is worth-while.

Tassel loafers, yes they would have been much better with that mess of a combination then Black Longwings.

Or do you simply have your panties in a wad because I think that pairing a RLBL blazer with a pair of docker look a likes isnt the best combo.

The Blazer is nice however.

WTF? Persecution complex much? In any case, I'll make a note of your dislike of my pairing khakis with a navy blazer and take that into account next time I wear the combination. I know the pairing is certainly an unconventional one..

Its not that you're wearing khakis, I simply think something more trim and tailored would fit the bill. Slimmer khakis, and yes tassel loafers would look great with that, especially in cordovan.

Sorry dude, I don't own a single pair of tassel loafers, and they are not on my list of items to buy anytime soon.. Now I hope you don't find that a hate-inspiring post, I really tried to temper it down..

Gnatty's outfit is fine. I'dve skipped a tie with that outfit, but then, if I had that particular tie, I would have had a hard time resisting.

I wear black longwings with khakis all the time (gasp!). Men wore it before SF was even conceptualized. Men wear it now and men will wear it in the future, even if SF calls them "security". It is a very nice look if done right. Yes, brown goes well with khakis, But black is nice too ... much better than the light, light tan that people here wear with such outfits. Also, I like my trousers to be not as trim fitting (or for that matter, as short) as SF likes. I also dislike 2" cuffs.

There, I said it. If that makes me unstylish in SF's opinion, so be it.

Besides the one decent WAYWRN pic that I saw, this seems to be what he does.

Who is your tailor, if you don't mind my asking?
