Ugh not to keep coming back here over the same damn thing... haha but i tried an insert w the chuck hi tops and they fit fine, though stepping off of carpet and onto tile with the black pair made me realise that the left foot on those is constructed a little funky... like they used too much material for the rubber sole and it bows out a little, so when i step onto a flat surface it pushes it back up into my foot a little and i get this pressure feeling in the center of the ball of the front of my foot.

Being that these are cheap/stretchy, will wearing them over time fix this problem or am i better off just sending them back for yet ANOTHER pair?

I can't believe i wear size 8.5-9 in most shoes but 7s in chucks. craziness.

I've never seen this brought up but I think the rubber toe shape is weird looking on Purcells, Chucks have the classic shape.

Without a doubt, but do not ever wear the one with huge cords. You want thin not very deep cords. I have a great grey pair, that I usually wear with a long sleeve black T-shirt

+1. I much prefer Chucks to Purcells.

I was going to say something sarcastic, but I'll be nice.

Yes. In fact I am wearing a pair from JCrew right now. Love them.
