I remember reading about this and I'm curious. I don't know if it would be a good idea for TB to create a diffusion line or if it'd fail miserably.

It won't be a different line, just a wider range of items and prices in the TB line (AFAIK).

Coming across a great piece of clothing of scarce quantity (i.e. eBay, thrift, vintage) and having the fit be just a bit off = major

Just got a shirt that fits great in the shoulders and chest, but has REALLY high arm holes and a pretty short length.

My info is Barney's management, as the local Co-Op will be stocking the items. Apparently it won't be a diffusion line in name (a la "MArc by Marc") but in essence will be the same thing.

Well Lanvin had jersey blazers at pretty good prices, everyone sorta presented some "crypto-diffusion" pieces, TB just said so for some reason. It's the recession...

you could get mugged for all your jewelry and the mugger woudlnt even take this

you could tell the mugger how much it was worth and he would laugh and not believe you and still not take it from you

and if he did take it, when he would try to fence it he'd get laughed out of the pawn shop
